Jay-Z and Coldplay to tour together in 2009

Here's an early contender for the hottest ticket of 2009: Pitchfork is reporting that hip-hop mogul Jay-Z and British rockers Coldplay will be going on tour together later next year.
Well, it's a mini-tour, to be fair.
The Coldplay/Jay-Z show rolls into Manchester on September 12, then hits Glasgow on September 16, before finishing up at London's famed Wembley Stadium on September 19.
The band and the rapper are no stranger to collaboration: Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin appeared on Jay-Z's song Beach Chair, off his 2006 album Kingdom Come. Now all we need is that Kanye West/Coldplay tour...
