"PHILA HISTORY" JBM AT ITS FINEST...............

The Black Mafia, was a Philadelphia-based organized crime syndicate whose small beginnings started from holding up crap games and dealing in the illegal drug business, was formed in September 1968 by Samuel Christian, who later adopted the name Suleiman Bey under the Nation of Islam, and was at its height of operation until about 1975. Other founding members included Ronald Harvey, Richard "Pork Chops" James, Donald "Donnie" Day, Robert "Bop Daddy" Fairbanks, Walter Hudgins, among several others who spent the past two years holding up crap games and extorting drug dealers, numbers men as well as illegitimate businessmen.
They gained power in local neighborhoods by intimidating people to prevent anyone from reporting the group's activities to the police. Because of this, police had incredible difficulty taking any action on the gang or any of its members for years after their conception. Over the course of their control, the mafia was responsible for over 40 murders and countless other crimes.

News: Beanie Sigel, Freeway & Gillie Da Kid Show Brotherly Love, Plan Free Concert In Philly

Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Gillie Da Kid and more have linked with Nike to provide fans with an upcoming "Brotherly Love Concert" in Philadelphia next week.
Presented by Nike's All Conditions Gear (ACG) shoe brand, the Philly-bred emcees will unite to show local fans their commitment to working together despite prior rap beefs in the past.
"ACG's are the official hood boots and I support what they do in the community," Sigel said in a statement. "I had an idea to put everyone together in one building and on one stage to start a movement here in Philly and promote unity."
The free event will also showcase Philly stars like Reed Dollas, Joey Jahad and E-Ness as Beans uses the concert to shed light on his hometown's talent.
"I want to concentrate on the artist now, as I push my own label here in Philly," he added. "I want State Property Records to be the vehicle to put them on, so they don't have to go to New York."
The "Brotherly Love Concert" is scheduled to take place Thursday, December 11 at 5 p.m. in Philadelphia's Filmore venue.

Chris Brown & Rihanna Sued For A Milli Over Alleged Paparazzi Beatdown

R&B superstars Chris Brown and Rihanna have been sued for $1 million by a photographer claiming he was beaten up and robbed by the couple's bodyguards in Florida last May.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, tabloid cameraman Luis Santana, Jr. was reportedly taking photos of the duo as Brown celebrated his 19th birthday at St. Petersburg's Vintage Ultra Lounge venue. Upon being discovered, Santana claims the singer and bodyguards attacked him.
"Brown, emerged from a black limousine with [bodyguards] and chased Santana through said parking lot," the lawsuit reads. "[The bodyguard] then knocked Santana to the ground and repeatedly kicked him."

Along with compensation from the battery injuries attained from the incident and the false imprisonment, Santana is also looking for reimbursements on his stolen $3,000 camera.
"[The bodyguards], acting within the course and scope of their employment with defendants, Rihanna and Brown, intentionally seized the camera equipment owned and operated by Santana then in his possession, with the intention of depriving Santana the right to his property or the benefit of the camera, camera equipment and photographs contained within the camera."
Despite the camera's small worth, Santana's million dollar lawsuit includes an unspecified and continuing loss of income since the attack.

"As a direct, proximate and foreseeable result of the subject atttack, Santana suffered the loss and/or destruction of valuable personal property, the loss of income, and the loss of the ability to earn money," it reads. "These losses are either permanent or continuing and Santana will suffer the losses in the future."

A rep for Brown and Rihanna was unavailable at press time.
As of now, no court date or settlement has been announced.

EVEN CELEBS ARE FEELING THE RECESSION

“I’m waking up in a room that was previously Mike Tyson’s bedroom, a fighter who earned over US$500 million in his actual career, and when I purchased his house from him he was in bankruptcy,” he said. “If that’s not a strong enough reminder for you, I don’t know what’s going to remind you to be aware of where you are financially and make conscious decisions.”
“Well yeah, I lost a couple million dollars already, you see what I’m saying? I sit with my investors and business managers and accountants looking at the numbers and I’m like, ‘Yo, the values of stocks in different areas that I invested in are decreasing!’ So I take the loss like everybody else.”

Kanye Sells 444k, While, “Theater Of The Mind,” Sells 212k

Of course Kanye’s sales were going to take a drop from the 957k he did with, “Graduation.” The economy, no battle wit 50 and an entirely different style had less people buying his album this time around. Ludacris dropped one of the best Rap albums of the year with, “Theater of The Mind,” and sold a good 212k during the first week of sales. Beyonce is still going strong with 254k sold.

Weezy album did a milli when gas was 5 bucks... I love Kanye no homo but ol boy should have waited or drop a double disc as attended...Take it from Jay-z, a cat who is waiting until the recession is slightly over not to mention all the mills he have lost investing in livenation stocks... its just a bad time to do anything...
