Chris Brown & Rihanna Sued For A Milli Over Alleged Paparazzi Beatdown

R&B superstars Chris Brown and Rihanna have been sued for $1 million by a photographer claiming he was beaten up and robbed by the couple's bodyguards in Florida last May.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, tabloid cameraman Luis Santana, Jr. was reportedly taking photos of the duo as Brown celebrated his 19th birthday at St. Petersburg's Vintage Ultra Lounge venue. Upon being discovered, Santana claims the singer and bodyguards attacked him.
"Brown, emerged from a black limousine with [bodyguards] and chased Santana through said parking lot," the lawsuit reads. "[The bodyguard] then knocked Santana to the ground and repeatedly kicked him."

Along with compensation from the battery injuries attained from the incident and the false imprisonment, Santana is also looking for reimbursements on his stolen $3,000 camera.
"[The bodyguards], acting within the course and scope of their employment with defendants, Rihanna and Brown, intentionally seized the camera equipment owned and operated by Santana then in his possession, with the intention of depriving Santana the right to his property or the benefit of the camera, camera equipment and photographs contained within the camera."
Despite the camera's small worth, Santana's million dollar lawsuit includes an unspecified and continuing loss of income since the attack.

"As a direct, proximate and foreseeable result of the subject atttack, Santana suffered the loss and/or destruction of valuable personal property, the loss of income, and the loss of the ability to earn money," it reads. "These losses are either permanent or continuing and Santana will suffer the losses in the future."

A rep for Brown and Rihanna was unavailable at press time.
As of now, no court date or settlement has been announced.
